We bring your mechanical presses into compliance with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and applicable safety regulations. Any brand. Two-hand controls, light curtains, guards and full documentation.
The EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and its national implementations establish the minimum safety requirements for the use of work equipment. Mechanical presses are among the machines with the highest accident rate and are therefore subject to strict supervision and regulation. Non-compliance significantly increases civil and criminal liability in the event of an accident.
We carry out the compliance upgrade for presses of any brand, issue the appropriate certification and deliver the complete technical documentation for the installed safety system.
Requires the operator to keep both hands outside the danger zone during the press closing stroke.
Presence detection that stops the press if a hand enters the danger zone. Safety category per EN ISO 13849.
Physical guards with electrical interlocking. Custom-designed for each press.
Correctly sized and positioned mushroom-head buttons, with stop-on-lock and manual reset.
None of these safety devices serve their purpose unless they are correctly implemented at the required safety integrity level. Current safety regulations consider not only the certification of individual components but also how they are interconnected and work together — each connection step reduces the overall safety level. We therefore wire them directly to a safety PLC to ensure they maintain the required Performance Level (PL), and add an HMI touch screen for straightforward alarm detection.
Muchas veces la prensa no está sola, se encuentra integrada en una línea de producción y es necesario tomar en consideración el conjunto completo.
A preliminary assessment is free of charge. We will tell you exactly what each machine requires.
