However, none of these safety measures are effective unless correctly implemented at the right safety level. Current safety regulations consider not only the certification of individual components but also how they interconnect and work together — each connection step lowers the safety level. For this reason we connect them directly to a safety PLC to ensure they maintain the appropriate Pl (Performance Level), and we add a HMI touchscreen for easy alarm detection.
In many cases the press is not alone — it is integrated into a production line and the complete assembly must be taken into consideration.
